COMMITMENT CEREMONIES
A Commitment Ceremony is usually very similar to a Civil Marriage Ceremony, but it
must be remembered that it is a Civil Ceremony only and does not constitute a legal
marriage in Australia, whether it is for same sex or heterosexual couples.
It can follow any form you choose, depending on what feels comfortable for you.
Themed & Fun, Formal & Traditional, even Heritage or Ethnic based.
This is YOUR ceremony, we are here to guide you and there are no 'hard & fast' rules
we have to follow.
Pat is sensitive & understanding with alternate lifestyles and is happy to officiate
at ANY
As with a wedding ceremony, Pat will work with you to design a ceremony that reflects your beliefs and lifestyle.
The promises or vows you make will be those you are happy to say and intend keeping. Your vows should reflect your existing relationship and look to the future together.
You receive almost the same as for a Wedding Ceremony, but instead of a Wedding Certificate, you gain a Certificate of Commitment and a full copy of the ceremony.
